Introducing our Business Development Manager

Welcome to another edition of Meet the Team! Today, we’re thrilled to introduce you to another of our valuable team members, Marino, the Yocuda Business Development Manager (BDM) based in Düsseldorf, Germany.

 

When did you join Yocuda, and where is your office based? 

I officially joined Yocuda on May 1st, 2022, and I’m based in our office in Düsseldorf, Germany.

 

What is your job title, and what does your role typically involve? 

As a Business Development Manager, my primary responsibility is to drive business growth for Yocuda. My role involves creating development plans, forecasting sales targets and identifying market opportunities through various channels such as meetings and networking. I am responsible for Yocuda activities in Germany.

Tell us a bit about your background and what you were doing before you joined Yocuda? 

Before joining Yocuda I worked as a consultant working on loyalty in the B2B/B2C space. During my time in that role, I primarily focussed on enterprise companies and was involved in everything from project planning and market development through to advising on employee motivation and promotions.

 

Why do you think retailers need e-receipts? 

E-receipts play a crucial role in modern retail for several reasons. Firstly, they provide retailers with an elegant way to collect valuable data from consumers, which is essential for driving upsells and enhancing marketing efforts. Without comprehensive customer data, effective marketing strategies are challenging to implement. 

In the age of omnichannel retail, e-receipts bridge the gap between online and offline shopping, providing a holistic view of customer behaviour across channels. Additionally, sustainability is a significant factor driving the adoption of e-receipts. By reducing paper usage, retailers can contribute to environmental conservation efforts and demonstrate their commitment to sustainability. E-receipts also serve as a versatile communication tool, delivering personalised messages and promotions. Embracing e-receipts is vital for retailers seeking to optimise their operations and enhance customer experiences in a competitive market landscape.
